Wide, flat armrests, exposed construction and the suspended leather seat give the chair its characteristic strong and functional form.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis particular chair is an especially attractive early example, preserved in entirely original condition. Decades of use have given the cognac leather a rich, expressive patina with natural variation, marks and wear throughout. Together with the warm surface of the oak, this gives the chair character that cannot be reproduced in a newer example.
