A rare and characterful Scandinavian functionalist piece combining the iconic “Apu” side table by Maija Heikinheimo with an integrated lamp by Taito Oy, Finland, dating to the 1930s.

The table is crafted from richly toned wood with softly rounded edges and a streamlined, architectural form. Its tiered shelving provides practical storage while maintaining an elegant, compact footprint. The integrated metal lamp features a gracefully curved arm and is paired with a new high-quality hand-crafted wood slat shade, adding warmth and texture to the otherwise minimal design.

This combination of furniture and lighting is a hallmark of early modernist Scandinavian design, blending function and aesthetics in a highly refined way.

Dimensions:
Width 55 cm (21.7 in)
Depth 32 cm (12.6 in)
Height 152 cm (59.8 in)

Lamp height and position is adjustable.

Condition:
New high-quality hand-crafted wood slat shade. In good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use. The wooden surfaces show minor marks, scratches, and patina. The metal shows light wear. The lamp is fully functional.
