A refined mid-century pendant produced in the 1950s by Itä-Suomen Sähkö Oy (commonly known as Itsu). Model ER 174 features a geometric brass structure built around a central cube, from which four horizontal arms extend. Each arm supports a cylindrical opaline glass shade with vertical ribbing, creating a soft, even light and a clean, modern expression.

The design reflects the clarity and functionality characteristic of Finnish post-war lighting. Itä-Suomen Sähkö Oy was known for precise brasswork and well-proportioned forms, and this model is a particularly balanced example — architectural yet warm, minimal yet full of character. The ribbed opaline shades are original to the piece and complement the warm tone of the aged brass.

This pendant works beautifully over a dining table, in a living room, or in a study where calm, diffused illumination and understated Nordic design are desired.
