A beautifully sculptural stoneware table lamp by Bruno Karlsson, produced by the Swedish ceramics workshop Ego Stengods in the 1960s. The lamp features a richly textured form with a striking contrast between the smooth, gently tapered upper body and the heavily tactile, bark-like midsection. The warm brown glaze, with its tonal variations and subtle surface speckling, highlights the handmade and organic character typical of the studio’s work.
Paired with a classic pleated shade, the lamp casts a warm, atmospheric light that complements both mid-century interiors and contemporary naturalistic spaces. A fine example of Swedish studio pottery applied to functional design.
