Brutalist Brass Pendant Lamp by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen, Denmark, 1960s
Open here
Striking Danish brutalist pendant lamp designed by Svend Aage Holm Sørensen and produced by Holm Sørensen & Co in the 1960s. The lamp is crafted from brass with a sculptural, layered form featuring hand-cut, flame-like edges that create a dramatic interplay of light and shadow when illuminated. The warm patinated finish enhances its organic, almost molten appearance—characteristic of Sørensen’s expressive design language.
The fixture hangs from a brass chain and canopy, adding to its bold architectural presence. A true statement piece that works beautifully in both modern and eclectic interiors.
