Curved Danish Modern Club Chair in Original Brown Wool Upholstery, 1940s
Open here
A beautifully sculpted example of Danish mid-century design, this curved club chair from the 1940s captures the refined elegance and organic lines characteristic of Scandinavian modernism. Its inviting silhouette features a gently scalloped backrest and subtly flared sides, creating a soft and embracing form that offers both visual warmth and exceptional comfort.
Upholstered in a rich brown wool-blend fabric, the chair retains its original vintage character, harmonizing beautifully with its sturdy rounded wooden feet that provide a grounded yet sculptural presence. The tailored piping and nuanced curvature enhance the chair's architectural silhouette, making it a versatile accent piece for a wide range of interiors—from Art Deco and mid-century modern to contemporary eclectic spaces.
We also currently have a matching three-seater sofa in stock, offered in as-found condition and in need of reupholstery—an excellent opportunity for those seeking a complete and cohesive vintage seating set.
