The lamp features a twisted iron stem rising from a tripod base, crowned by decorative scrollwork and a stylized tulip finial. The asymmetrical arm supports a large conical rattan shade that casts a warm, atmospheric light while showcasing the natural texture of the woven material.

Both functional and highly decorative, this rare floor lamp embodies the romantic and nature-inspired aesthetic of Finnish decorative arts from the interwar period. The combination of blackened wrought iron and warm-toned rattan gives the piece a unique presence that works equally well in rustic, Art Deco, and contemporary interiors.

The height and position of the lamp arm can be adjusted along the stem, allowing the shade to be raised or lowered to suit different seating arrangements and lighting needs. This practical feature adds versatility to the lamp’s sculptural design, making it suitable as both a reading lamp and an ambient light source.
