This Finnish functionalist coffee table from the 1940s combines clean architectural lines with beautifully figured birch veneers. The thick square tabletop showcases a striking combination of flamed birch and curly birch veneers, creating a rich interplay of grain, figure, and warm golden tones. Rounded corners soften the otherwise restrained, functionalist form.

The table features a practical lower shelf in dark stained birch, providing convenient storage for books and magazines while creating a striking contrast with the warm golden tones of the tabletop. Its balanced proportions and timeless design make it equally suitable for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Professionally refinished, the table is presented in excellent vintage condition while preserving its original character.
