Set of three Finnish nesting tables from the 1950s, made in warm golden-toned elm. Each table features a rectangular top with softly shaped, scalloped edges and a raised moulded rim. The slender curved legs follow the same flowing lines, giving the set an elegant and slightly playful character.

The design combines traditional furniture-making details with the lighter proportions associated with Finnish mid-century furniture. Particularly attractive is the natural grain of the elm, clearly visible across the table tops and emphasized by the simple construction and warm finish. The three tables are graduated in size and fit neatly underneath one another when not in use.

A practical and decorative set that can be used together or individually as side tables, occasional tables or bedside tables. When nested, they take up very little floor space, while the sculptural edges and curved legs give the set plenty of character even when stored together.

This set retains the original Keravan Puusepäntehdas / Oy Stockmann Ab manufacturer’s stamp underneath the tabletop.
