A mid-century Finnish floor lamp from the 1950s–1960s, combining a brass base with a slender stem wrapped in birch. The tall, tapering form is paired with a wide pleated fabric shade that gives the lamp a calm and balanced silhouette. The combination of brass, birch and a softly diffused shade gives the piece a refined Nordic character.

The lamp shows stylistic similarities to the work of Paavo Tynell, particularly in the warm brass base, the elegant proportions and the use of natural materials. While no firm attribution can be made, these details echo the atmosphere and craftsmanship associated with Finnish lighting of the era. The maker is unknown.
