A clean and balanced mid-century chandelier in brass and opaline glass. The structure is defined by five gently curved arms extending from a central stem, each holding a conical glass shade. The shades are smooth and evenly proportioned, diffusing light into a soft, ambient glow. The brass has a warm tone with visible patina, giving the piece a sense of age and authenticity while maintaining a refined, functional form.

Model 101/5 was produced by Itsu in Finland during the 1950s, a period when Nordic lighting design emphasized clarity of form and practical use. Compared to more decorative models, this design leans toward modernist simplicity, with subtle detailing in the central column and arm connections. Itsu’s production often combined traditional brass work with restrained forms, reflecting a transition from earlier decorative styles toward a more streamlined mid-century expression.
