Large flush mount manufactured in Finland during the 1950s. Measuring an impressive 79 cm in diameter, the light features a wide pleated synthetic textile shade stretched over a metal frame. A continuous row of overlapping metal loops decorates the outer edge, while an aged brass center fitting with a small ornamental finial completes the design. All components are original, including the textile shade.

The tightly gathered textile creates a graphic radial pattern while also functioning as a diffuser, producing a warm and pleasantly softened light.

Despite its substantial diameter, the shallow profile keeps the fixture relatively close to the ceiling. It works particularly well in rooms where a large ceiling light is needed without the drop of a pendant, bringing warm ambient light and strong mid-century character to the space.
