Elegant mid-century Model K5-40 ceiling light by Idman, Finland, 1950s. The design features a pleated synthetic textile diffuser stretched over a metal frame with decorative brass trim and finial, producing a soft, atmospheric glow.

While no specific designer is mentioned in the catalogue, the refined aesthetics align with the graceful work of Gunnel Nyman, whose enduring influence continued to shape Finnish lighting design after her lifetime. Many posthumous adaptations and customizable variations drew upon her distinctive sense of form and light. Stamped with the Idman mark, this piece reflects the quality and heritage of Finnish modernist craftsmanship.
