ABOUT THE DESIGNER – ARNE WAHL IVERSEN
Arne Wahl Iversen (1927–2016) was a Danish architect and designer, best known for his elegant, functional furniture in teak and oak. Active from the 1950’s through the 1970’s, he produced work for several Danish makers and also collaborated with IKEA during a formative period in the company’s history. His designs are characterised by architectural clarity, modest detailing and a focus on practical living — qualities that continue to make them sought-after today.
