Elegant and airy pendant light designed by Paavo Tynell for Idman during the 1950s. The model K3-44 combines Tynell’s refined modernist sensibility with delicate handcrafted details, resulting in a light fixture that feels both architectural and soft in expression.

The pendant features a white opaline glass diffuser surrounded by a wide pleated fabric shade in pale blue and white striped textile, creating a beautifully diffused and atmospheric light. Brass accents at the top and canopy add warmth and subtle contrast to the otherwise light and delicate composition.

The restrained palette and graceful proportions make this piece highly versatile, equally suited above a dining table, in a bedroom, or as a sculptural focal point in a living space. The combination of fabric, glass, and brass is characteristic of Paavo Tynell’s celebrated lighting designs, where functionality meets understated elegance.
