Pair of Armchairs by Einari Kyöstilä for Oy Stockmann Ab, Finland, 1940s
A refined pair of Finnish mid-century armchairs designed by Einari Kyöstilä and produced by Keravan Puusepäntehdas for Oy Stockmann Ab in the 1940s. The chairs feature elegantly curved wooden frames finished in black, with gently tapered legs and sculptural armrests, showcasing the understated sophistication of early Nordic modernism.
The seats and backrests have been newly upholstered in a textured grey fabric, providing a comfortable and supportive sit while complementing the dark frames with a subtle contrast. The design balances clean lines with soft, organic forms, making these chairs suitable for both classic and contemporary interiors.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Frames show light wear consistent with age. Upholstery is newly redone.
