A rare rectangular wall mirror, model 778, designed by Hans-Agne Jakobsson and produced in Åhus, Sweden, in the 1950s. The painted iron frame is finished in a light tone and worked into a continuous looped pattern that gives the mirror both rhythm and delicacy. Rounded corners soften the form, while the handcrafted detailing reflects Jakobsson’s interest in decorative yet functional everyday objects.

Hans-Agne Jakobsson (1919–2009) is best known for his prolific lighting designs, but his studio in Åhus also produced a limited range of mirrors and accessories. Compared to his lamps, original Jakobsson mirrors are rarely seen on the market, making this example a highly sought-after collectible.

This mirror is both functional and sculptural, a distinctive accent for a hallway, bedroom, or living space. Its rarity and craftsmanship make it an exceptional piece of Scandinavian mid-century design.
