Swedish Grace Oxidised Brass & Amber Glass Pendant Chandelier, 1930s
Open here
Elegant Swedish Grace pendant chandelier produced in Sweden during the 1930s. The lamp features a beautifully balanced composition with three softly curved circular arms in oxidised brass supporting warm opaline glass shades. Delicate amber-colored glass drops suspended beneath the arms add a refined decorative detail characteristic of the Swedish Grace period, blending late classicism with early Art Deco influences.
The oxidised brass surface has developed a rich and even patina over time, complementing the warm glow of the opaline glass beautifully. The chandelier combines sculptural form with restrained elegance, making it equally suitable above a dining table, in an entrance hall, or as a statement piece in a living space.
While the designer and manufacturer remain unidentified, the lamp retains a partial maker’s sticker and displays exceptionally high-quality craftsmanship throughout. The refined metalwork, elegant proportions, and carefully executed details strongly reflect the quality associated with Scandinavian lighting from the Swedish Grace era.
A rare and atmospheric Scandinavian ceiling lamp with strong period character.
