A rare teak wall mirror by Hans-Agne Jakobsson. Made in Åhus, Sweden, 1950s. Labelled to the reverse.
A very simple rectangular mirror with teak frame from the early years of Jakobsson's own work. The elegant frame is nicely made, and decorated to both long sides with inlay in black and white. This form of paper-based decoration is found on other Jakobsson designs of the Åhus years.
The piece is in good overall condition, with minor signs of wear from age and use. The glass is generally good with couple minor spots. The frame has only light marks and a smoothly aged beautiful patina.
